Delivery

We do our best to deliver the order to you as soon as possible. We strive to ship out orders that have been paid within 2-3 working days. Unfortunately, we are not always able to fulfill this, sometimes products are not in stock and the delivery of your order can take a little longer. There is an indication of the delivery time on the product page. If for whatever reason we do not meet this delivery time, we will of course inform you as soon as possible.

Please note: have you ordered an article on a pre-order basis? The expected shipping date is then stated on the product page(s), this may deviate from the regular delivery time. Have items been ordered in combination with pre-order items? Then the order will be shipped in one go as soon as the entire order, including the pre-order items, is complete.

Made to measure items are excluded from the regular delivery time. For an indication of the delivery time of the desired custom-made product, please contact us at info@charmingcouture.nl 

 

Shipping costs

The product prices stated on this website are excluding shipping costs. The shipping costs within the Netherlands are:

€4.50 for orders that fit through the letterbox (PostNL letterbox package including track & trace code)
€7.00 for orders sent as parcel post (regular PostNL package including track & trace code)

 

The shipping costs for Belgium and Germany are:

€7.00 for orders that fit through the letterbox (including track & trace code DPD)
€11.00 for orders that are sent as parcel post (including track & trace code DPD)

 

The shipping costs for worldwide shipping with PostNL are € 14.00-€30,00 (including track & trace code).

 

Delivery takes place via PostNL's postmen or the parcel delivery service within the Netherlands, DPD within Europe and outside Europe with PostNL International. It may take a while before the track & trace code of a shipment is active, this especially applies to letterbox packages. In general, delivery in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany will take place within 1-2 working days after dispatch between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the time of delivery. For shipping outside of Europe, please contact us for estimated shipping costs, additional import duties, customs fees and shipping time.

 

Important: shipping to the United States – Import Duties

Please note that since August 29, 2025, the U.S. duty-free exemption for shipments valued up to $800 has been removed. As a result, all shipments entering the United States (and Puerto Rico) are now subject to import duties and taxes, regardless of their value.

Import Duties & Customs Fees

All import duties, customs charges, taxes, and any related import fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. These charges are not determined by Charming Couture. They are calculated by the shipping carrier when the shipping label is created, in accordance with current U.S. import regulations. Because the final amount depends on the carrier's assessment and applicable regulations, we are unable to estimate these costs in advance until we create the shipping label.

If import duties apply to your order, you will receive a separate payment request before your order is shipped. Your order will be dispatched once payment has been been received.

If a shipment is refused, not accepted, or abandoned because import duties, taxes or customs charges are not paid, any return shipping costs, customs fees, import charges, taxes and other expenses incurred will be deducted from any refund due. If these costs exceed the value of the order, no refund will be issued.
